MEET OUR PASTORS

Pastor Dennis Sisco
For Dennis, ministry has always been about people. His heart is to walk alongside others through life's joys and challenges, point them toward Jesus, and remind them that God's grace is greater than their past and His plans are greater than their circumstances.
An ordained minister entering his 31st year of ministry, Dennis has pastored churches in New Brunswick and Ontario. Since 2013, he has also served in correctional ministry through chaplaincy, provincial faith-based services, and senior leadership roles within New Brunswick's Adult Custody Services. These experiences have strengthened his belief in compassion, restoration, and the power of God's grace to transform lives.
Dennis and his wife, Pam, have shared 30 years of marriage, raising their four children and serving together in ministry. Family remains one of his greatest blessings and has taught him the importance of love, patience, and being present for others.
As Co-Lead Pastor of Morning Gate Church, Dennis desires to cultivate a Christ-centred community where people feel welcomed, families are strengthened, authentic relationships grow, and everyone discovers their God-given purpose. He believes the love of Jesus should be demonstrated through genuine care and service to others.
Outside of ministry, Dennis enjoys vehicles, gardening, walking Leo, the family dog, and exploring his longtime interest in houses, buildings, and floor plans.
Dennis's hope is simple: that together, we would know Jesus, love people, live with purpose, and make a difference in our community and beyond.

Pastor Pam Sisco
For Pam, ministry is about helping people encounter the grace of Jesus, grow in a genuine relationship with Him, and discover who God created them to be. A teacher and worship leader at heart, she is passionate about helping people understand God's Word, experience freedom in Christ, and live out their faith.
Pam began serving in ministry at age 11, teaching Sunday school, and has since been involved in church, nonprofit, recovery, and community ministries. She has a special heart for those who are overlooked or marginalized and currently ministers to women and youth in correctional settings. She believes everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and reminded that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.
Pam and her husband, Dennis, have shared 30 years of marriage, raising their four children and serving together in ministry. Through life's joys and challenges, she has experienced God's faithfulness and the sufficiency of His grace.
As Co-Lead Pastor of Morning Gate Church, Pam desires to cultivate a Christ-centred community where people feel welcomed, develop authentic relationships, grow in faith, and discover their God-given purpose. With a deep heart for prayer, she longs to see people confidently follow God's leading.
Outside of ministry, Pam enjoys music, gardening, crafting, cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Pam's hope is that people would encounter Jesus, experience the freedom of His grace, and become all He has called them to be.
TEAM MINISTRY & LEADERSHIP
EPHESIANS 4:4
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
1 PETER 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
In the New Testament, ministry is always pictured as team ministry. Jesus brought together a team of disciples, and He sent them out as a team. The Apostles worked in teams, and they commissioned more teams. The letters of Paul describes vivid images of deeply relational team ministry.
Team relationships encompass every believer who has received Jesus as Saviour and Lord. As a team we are Kingdom-orientated with a shared vision of proclaiming the Good News of Christ, making disciples, and fostering healthy relationships in the body of Christ.
Ultimately, Jesus is Lord and head of our team, and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit we are filled and empowered to serve Him by loving God and loving others. Leadership functions are demonstrated by humble and loving service to others, building others up in their faith and equipping them to live as followers and ambassadors of Christ. Spiritual guidance, shepherding, and oversight functions are provided by our Leadership Team (the Elders and Board of Morning Gate Church). The Board is supported by an Interim Pastoral Team.
